In the middle of 1970, a brand of young and enthusiastic persons under the guidance of a few matured/senior persons gave thought and discussed amongst themselves, the idea of starting a Co-operative Bank. As there was no other banking institution in the locality, the idea was received enthusiastically by the people and immediately without giving room for delay held a meeting and the decision was taken to start a Co-operative Bank.
Trust of the Members and depositors in a bank and trust of the bank on its borrowers form the edifice of the banking business.
